To All Trains” is the first studio album by Steve Albini‘s band since 2014. It is to be released in May this year.

Shellac are back with their first studio album since 2014. “To All Trains” is a follow-up to “Dude Incredible,” and will be released on May 17 on the Touch and Go label. You can see the album cover and track listing below.

Guitarist Steve Albini, drummer Todd Trainer and bassist Bob Weston recorded their new album over several weekends in November 2017, October 2019, September 2021 and March 2022. “To All Trains” was recorded and mixed at Albini’s Electrical Audio in Chicago, and Weston and Albini mastered the album at Chicago Mastering Service.


Following the release of “Dude Incredible,” Shellac released “The End of Radio,” a compilation of previously unreleased recordings from 2019 made at Maida Vale Studios.
