Prepare yourselves for the sounds from mini LP called KOTA!

Earlier this year, amid rumors that Dave Grohl was pursing a solo career, Foo Fighters declared that “for the millionth time, we’re not breaking up. And nobody’s going f****** solo!” Well, all the Foos are still together, but one member is starting a solo gig: drummer Taylor Hawkins. He has announced his first-ever album under his own name, titled KOTA. The six-song mini-LP will be released on November 11. Take a look at the cover:

Much like Grohl did on the first Foo Fighters album, KOTA finds Hawkins handling lead vocals and playing “nearly every instrument,” according to a press release.
