BeatIt’s creators have spent countless hours talking to bass players – about gear, playing techniques and (first and foremost) making their drum parts work together with the bass. The result of those conversations is the idea to create a website for bass players, which we are doing just now having succeeded with the drumming website. To that end, we are collaborating with professional bassists, who know exactly what it means not to be certain what kind of gear to buy and to be afraid that our hard-earned money may not be put to good use. They also realize how much time and effort it takes to master bass playing techniques and theory to a degree which allows a person to play in a good band with really good instrumentalists. Their beloved gear has broken down once or twice as well, which is why they have learned a few ways to solve or avoid certain problematic situations.
