The Meinl company is constantly expanding its large family of artists. This time, drummer Anna Mylle has joined the endorser list.
Anna began her music career in her native Belgium at the age of 14 when she began touring the country with several music projects. At 18, she moved to London to study at the Tech Music School (now BIMM London). Soon after graduating, she joined several bands and toured all over the UK. In 2015, Anna moved to Los Angeles and took private lessons with such drummers as Kenny Aronoff, Mark Schulman and Bruce Becker. There, she also recorded an album alongside Mark Schulman and Julian Coryell, and then returned to Europe in 2016. Anna has lived in London since 2017. During this time, she toured Europe with her three bands – DORJA, Birdeatsbaby and Traipse, and recorded many albums for artists from around the world, earning a reputation as “London’s fierce rock drummer“.
