TAMA Drums Germany have presented a video showcasing Jürgen “Ventor” Reil – the drummer with German thrash legends Kreator, performing the song “Become Immortal“. It is the fourth single off the band’s fifteenth studio album, titled “Hate Über Alles“.
In late 2023, Kreator‘s frontman, Mille Petrozza, announced the band were going to enter the studio in 2025 to record the follow-up to “Hate Über Alles“.
Kreator are also working on an official documentary about the band in cooperation with Cordula Kablitz-Post – a director, author and producer who specializes in documentaries and feature films for cinema distribution, as well as high-quality TV documentaries for public broadcaster ARTE. She is also the author of “Die Toten Hosen – You Only Live Once” about the German punk rockers Die Toten Hosen.
Jürgen “Ventor” Reil was born in 1966 in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. He took up drumming at the age of 16. He is Kreator‘s original drummer. He has left the band twice but has been back since 2001. The only album he is not featured on is “Cause for Conflict” (1995).
Apart form Tama drums, Ventor uses Meinl cymbals and Evans drumheads.
