On Monday, March 11, at the age of 90, died Hal Blaine – One of the most “prolific” session musicians stepping on our planet. He was known mainly for his collaboration with The Wrecking Crew. He has performed and recorded hundreds of musical hits with artists such as: The Beach Boys, Frank Sinatra, John Lennon, Elvis Presley, Mamas and Papas, Cher and Barbra Streisand. In 2000, Hal was inducted to Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. In 2007, Stylus Magazine classified the drummer 43rd on the list of the top 50 rock drummers.
Drummer died of natural causes at his home in Palm Desert, California.
