BeatIt presents: Boss DB-90 metronome
We would never be able to call ourselves a decent drummers’ portal if we didn’t look at some peripheral equipment, which is immensely important in this business. We begin with not just any device. It is Boss DB-90 Dr. Beat, a metronome sent to us by its official Polish distributor – Roland Polska. Many of you, Drummers and Drummerettes, have already heard or read about it, seen it online, some of you have even touched it. However, we hope our presentation will make everything clear and answer most of the questions regarding the options which “The Doc” offers in a drummer’s everyday life, both in rehearsal, studio and live.
It’s not our intention to copy this baby’s instruction manual. You can find it enclosed below anyway. Watching our presentation, you can see and hear what function hides behind EACH of the buttons to be found on the control panel and all the applications of the sockets featured in the device. In our opinion, it is more than enough to see that this metronome is one of the best, not only in its segment, but generally in the market. Our Editor-in-Chief may sniff at the screen colour all he wants (we quote: “Blue would be much more cool!”). The fact is that the only downside of this unit is its price. Drummers and Drummerettes! We give you the Boss DB-90 Dr. Beat metronome. Enjoy the show!
