As we have already informed, the Tama portfolio has been enhanced in 2022 with new drum kits and finishes within the Star and Starclassic lines, Rhythm Mate, Imperialstar and Superstar entry-level and budget kits as well as the TAMA Club-JAM series.
The company have not neglected its offer as far as hardware is concerned either.
TAMA IRON COBRA 600 DUO GLIDE single and twin pedal
The key feature of the Iron Cobra 600 Duo Glide is a mechanism that allows
the player to easily switch between two different cam shapes: the “Power Glide“ and the „Rolling Glide“, which provide two distinct feels in one pedal. These new, Limited Edition Iron Cobra 600 pedals are offered in Brilliant Satin Gold finish and seem to pair a great look with functionality.
Basic product specs:
- Beater angle adjustment
- Duo Glide system (two cam shapes)
- Double chain drive
- Speedo-Ring
TAMA HP30TW STANDARD twin pedal
Utilizing the same offset cam shape as the Iron Cobra 900 Power Glide, the HP30 Standard mechanism is supposed to offer increased power and speed with an easily adjustable beater angle, which is a feature usually found on top-of-the-line pedals. Offered with the DS30 beater, two different sounds can be achieved by rotating the beater head: the felt side for a softer, controlled sound, or the plastic side for a louder and punchier sound with more attack.
Basic product specs:
- Offset cam shape taken from the Iron Cobra 900 Power Glide pedal
- Beater angle adjustment
- DS30 beater (felt and plastic side)
- Single chain drive
