Istanbul Agop have recently announced the latest addition to their XIST line, which is the XIST Dry Dark Brilliant family of cymbals.
XIST Dry Dark Brilliant crashes are thin and malleable with a dynamic and explosive, higher pitched attack and a dark, very quick decay. They also make for a cutting but dry ride for lower volume music. Slightly increased weight compared to original XIST Dry Dark models yields increased volume and projection while maintaining their own distinct and complex character.
XIST Dry Dark Brilliant hats are dark and washy with a more pointed and crisp attack and increased volume compared to the original dry dark hi hat models.
Modern production techniques combined with traditional by hand cymbal-making processes bring drummers a diverse selection of sounds from classic to innovative and distinctly modern designs to cover every style of music.
Models include 15 and 17-inch hi hats and 19, 21 and 22-inch crashes.
