Zildjian have recently introduced new K Paper Thin Crashes.
They come in large sizes (18″, 19″, 20″, 21″, 22″) and are officially the thinest crashes in the K series and the largest Paper Thin cymbals in the history of Zildjian. This makes them explosive and the decay short. These cymbals are also dark as far as timbre is concerned. Another feature they display is that they are made to feel very soft under the stick, which makes them flexible, shimmery sounding and responsive.

‘As strong as they are thin, these cymbals offer an explosive dark crash with quick decay, and a buttery under-stick feel. A key feature is a reimagined three step hammering process which unlocks flexibility and sonic nuances that contribute to the unique signature of these crashes. The very thin profiles allow extra shimmer when crashed, providing a low end resonance not found anywhere else in the K Family.’
