BeatIt at the Przystanek Woodstock Festival

BeatIt Days at the 21st Annual Przystanek Woodstock Festival 

Drummers and Drummerettes! We invite all drum freaks out there and those who follow our channel to the 21st annual Przystanek Woodstock Festival in Kostrzyn nad Odrą Poland.

Between July 30 and – August 1, 2015, we are organizing and conducting an event we have named BeatIt Days. There will be all kinds of attractions for drum lovers including: gear presentations, drum-playing shows as well as contests and quizzes with interesting and valuable prizes to win.The event will be held in cooperation with the mobile phone operator PLAY, with contributions from Roland Polska, ADA Music – the Polish Zildjian and Ludwig distributor as wel as Avant Drum Shop (drumshop.pl).

All activities related to BeatIt Days will take place on the smallest Festival stage sponsored by the mobile phone operator PLAY and a tent dedicated especially for this purpose:

Drum Battle (PLAY Stage) – contenders, who have previously signed up, compete on two kits in the form of a knock-out tournament. The audience chooses the winners by means of applause volume. Main Prize(an AVEDIS ZILDJIAN cymbal pack) is sponsored byADA MUSIC – the Polish distributor of such brands as Zildjian or Ludwig. 

Speed Contest (PLAY Stage) – volunteers play on an electronic practise pad with a speed counter built in. Whoever has played at the highest speed wins. Main Prize is sponsored by a AVANT DRUM SHOP. 

Quiz (PLAY Stage) – MC’s ask questions about drums and drummers. Prizes sponsored by ROLAND and ADA MUSIC.

Performance of a Drum Composition (PLAY Stage) – BeatIt representatives will perform a special composition for several drum kits.

Presentation of Zildjian cymbals (tent) – conducted by Piotr Pniak – an official Zildjian endorser in Poland

Drum Lessons (tent) – BeatIt representatives will conduct short drum playing lessons for those interested (entry level as well as more advanced)

Drum Equipment Presentations (tent) – BeatIt representatives will conduct presentations of Ludwig/Zildjian/Roland instruments and equipment. It will be possible to test and play ROLAND electronic kits and become acquainted with the current offer from Zildjian and Ludwig.
