After many months of absence from the stage, Limp Bizkit returned to the United States on July 15 at a concert in Indiana. The show, as well as the one at the Lollapalooza festival, took place without John Otto behind the drums. To the surprise of the fans, the drum throne was taken by Brandon Pertzborn, known for his work with such bands as Black Flag, Ho99o9 and Marilyn Manson. The group did not announce the reason behind the replacement. The surprise is even greater considering the fact that John Otto has always been (next to the singer Fred Durst) the longest-active member of the group, which has undergone many lineup changes.
Otto himself has made no statement on his current status as a member of the band. On August 16, the musician published a video on his official Instagram profile, in which he announced an increase in social media activity.
On Aug 9, Limp Bizkit the band cancelled the remaining dates of their summer US tour due to COVID-related difficulties when organizing shows.

We also recommend watching Brandon’s official Youtube channel, where he posts a lot of interesting drum-related content, including covers of songs by bands such as Muse, Tool or Slipknot.
