The history of Dirty Rotten Imbeciles dates back to 1982. The band was founded in Houston, Texas, and is considered one of the co-founders of Crossover, along with S.O.D., Suicidal Tendencies and Corrosion of Conformity, as they were among the first to blend hardcore punk with thrash metal. Their discography includes seven full-length albums and several smaller releases, the latest being the EP “But Wait, There’s More!”, released in 2016.

The band’s drummer for more than 30 years (with a minor break) has been Rob Rampy, who, along with bassist Greg Orr, accompanies the founding members, vocalist Kurt Brecht and guitarist Spike Cassidy.
