Snare stands, hi hat stands and cymbal stands. You can’t really play them, they’re not musical, and yet, drummers could talk about them for days on end. They actually do. Every day. A boom cymbal stand or a straight one? Heavy or light? Double-braced legs or single ones? Perhaps flush-base type? A two-leg hi hat stand? Three swiveling legs? Flat base? Let alone the technical solutions applied in snare stands. Which brand and model wil be the most suitable? DW 9000? Yamaha 950 series? Tama Star? Mapex Falcon?
