American heavy metal veterans W.A.S.P. have employed Briana Tichy to fill the drummer’s seat for the band’s summer tour. The renowned drummer, multi-instrumentalist and writer, who has collaborated with the likes of Whitesnake, Foreigner, Billy Idol and Ozzy Osbourne, will be featured during the group’s European summer festival shows.

A video from the first of the shows, which took place on June 23 at the Danish Copenhell festival, has already surfaced on the Internet.
The band played a tour with Aquiles Priester behind the drums last year (which we informed of). Earlier, the band were helped out by Patrick Johansson (Yngwie Malmsteen) and Randy Black (Primal Fear). All this maelstrom came in the wake of Mike Dupke’s departure in 2015 after a nine-year stint with W.A.S.P.
