Zildjian announces 400th anniversary concert in London featuring star-studded lineup
Zildjian 400th Live UK will honour four centuries of musical influence from the world’s leading cymbal manufacturer.
Avedis Zildjian Co., the world’s oldest and largest maker of cymbals, has announced plans to celebrate its 400-year history with performances by world-renowned drummers on October 15th, 2023. The company, which first began making cymbals in 1623, will host Zildjian 400th Live UK at The Clapham Grand in London, UK.
“We are thrilled to celebrate Zildjian’s milestone anniversary in London with some of our most amazing artists, colleagues, and friends,” said Zildjian Executive Chair, President, and 14th generation owner Craigie Zildjian. “This is a special moment to reflect not only on our history, but to share the excitement of what lies ahead.”
The Zildjian 400th Live Event will feature an incredible house band and performances by today’s top drummers including Karl Brazil, Dennis Chambers, Gavin Harrison, Craig Reynolds, Ash Soan, Ben Thatcher, and Steve White.
“This will be an unforgettable night commemorating Zildjian’s 400 years of inspiring people to express themselves through music,” said Zildjian CEO John Stephans. “This is also a fantastic opportunity to share incredible music with our employees, artists, and fans in the U.K.”
