Meinl Cymbals is consistently expanding its endorser family.
This time Meinl Cymbals are welcoming British drummer Olly “Cass” Cassidy into their family of artists. Cass is the drummer of Easy Life, a British alternative R&B band that has released 3 mixtapes on Island Records (Creature Habits 2018, Spaceships 2019 and Junk Food 2020). Their debut album “Life’s a Beach” was released in May 2021 and reached number 2 on the British charts. They are planning a UK tour in July 2021.

Another new Meinl Cymbals artist is Yshai Afterman. With a highly technical, melodic and rhythmic approach to the instrument, Yshai draws from Indian, Turkish, Persian and Arabic traditions, combining them with current inventions to create a captivating and original voice in the world of Ethno Jazz music. In addition to performing his own music with the Yshai Afterman Quintet, he is involved in many other projects and conducts seminars at academies, festivals and private venues around the world.
