We want to proudly announce, that Tomek Torres is the newest member of the Meinl family!

Tomek is a very busy and sought-after live and studio session drummer, who already worked with various musicians worldwide such as Bobby McFerrin, Adam Makowicz, Urszula Dudziak, Kayah, Mayito Rivera or Jamey Aabersold. With his multiple-award-winnig Polish rock-hip-hop band Afromental he is touring extensively.

His musical adventure started in the United States back in 1997, where he was invited every year to tour with the band TRIOLOGY. During these stays, Tomek learned everything it needs to become a skilled and dedicated drummer.

Tomek favors the unique sound of the Byzance Extra Dry and Dual series – especially for his sound needs in Afromental.
