Sting has made a name for himself and gained fame as the bassist and singer with The Police, who functioned as a trio.
This year, the artist has decided to come full circle and return to this format on his recently announced “STING 3.0” tour. Accompanying him on this tour will be guitarist Dominic Miller (the star’s collaborator for more than 30 years) and drummer Chris Maas.
Sting’s official website explains:
“STING 3.0″ Tour represents a new dynamic era showcasing selections from his vast catalog through the urgent lens of a tight three-piece combo.“
The tour is scheduled to begin on September 17 with two concerts at the Fillmore in Detroit, Michigan. The artist will then visit major cities scattered throughout the United States and Canada.
