Slingerland Gene Krupa Radio King Snare

As we have already informed this year (see: HERE), the Slingerland brand is coming back, and it’s being revived by DW Founder Don Lombardi and his team.

In early 2025, they kicked off with the Radio King Limited Edition Snare, then, they introduced two drum kit lines: the Radio King™ Outfit and Studio King™, plus a selection of spare parts and accessories. Now, it is time for the Gene Krupa Radio King Snare.

Gene Krupa endorsed Slingerland Drums for his whole career and became nearly synonymous with the brand. He is celebrated the world over as aninnovative soloist, who played fast and hit hard. Widely regarded as one of the most significant drummers in the history of popular music, Krupa influenced the playing of Buddy Rich, John Bonham,Bill Ward, Keith Moon, Ian Paice, Carl Palmer, and many more.
