Roy Mayorga (Stone Sour) switches to Vater

It’s official! Roy Mayorga is a Vater Drumstick Artist! Many know Roy as the hard hitting, rock solid, energetic guy on the kit for Stone Sour, but he is also a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and engineer. Some of Roy’s various credits include Soulfly, Crisis, Dave Navarro, Nausea, and many more.

Roy and Stone Sour hit the road starting today (April 28th) for an extensive world-wide concert tour that runs through the end of 2018, which includes dates with Ozzy Osbourne on the “No More Tours 2” tour.

Roy Mayorga has chosen the Vater Rock stick model, which features a full sized barrel tip, for a big and loud tone. The heavy taper adds front weight and durability for hard hitting players.
