> > > Pete Sandoval joins Czarcie Kopyto family
Pete ”Commando” Sandoval (Terrorizer, I am Morbid, ex-Morbid Angel) has become an official Czarcie Kopyto endorser.
In the middle of the ‘I am Morbid’ European tour (March 2022) I had the opportunity to try these Czarcie Kopyto pedals; it was a huge challenge for me, playing Morbid Angel songs after so long with something new. Since the very first time I played them, I felt how powerful, solid, heavy duty and fast these amazing pedals are. I’m so happy to be part of this family now. Thank you guys. Your pedals are the best.”
Pete “Commando” Sandoval is a Salvadorian-born American drummer widely regarded as “the father of the blast beat”, and one of the fastest players in the death metal scene.
His first significant stint started in 1986 with the grindcore band Terrorizer. Two years later, he was offered to join Morbid Angel. The group went on to become a death metal institution and Pete’s drumming features all their albums but one, including the breakthrough debut “Altars of Madness” (1989) and the highly acclaimed follow-up “Blessed Are The Sick” (1991).
Pete Sandoval is now the drummer for the band I Am Morbid, where he is reunited with Morbid Angel’s singer/bassist David Vincent to perform songs from the latter group’s catalog.
