In this difficult time of the Coronavirus outbreak, drummers and drum companies are trying to come up with some interesting drumming-related content for sticksmen in self-isolation at home. Artists offer free drum lessons online, while companies have been preparing interviews, discussion panels and drum workshops, very often streamed live.
Vic Firth are no exception. The company invite all those interested to a masterclass featuring six drumming giants: Dave Weckl, Peter Erskine, Steve Smith, Jojo Mayer, Russ Miller and Stanton Moore. It will be a special Live Brush Masters Roundtable hosted by Florian Alexandru-Zorn (OnlineLessons.tv).
Six of the top players of today will share their favorite brush patterns across genres and break them down. All that’s needed to participate is an empty pizza box and a pair of brushes! We highly recommend the event on behalf of the organizers, artists as well as our own.
