The Avedis Zildjian Company has introduced two new practice pad options into its lineup of accessories. The Zildjian Galaxy and Zildjian Graffiti pads, as the producer advertizes them, “offer a fun and visually exciting pad with great feel, response and versatility just as the previous versions. Both pads feature bold and colorful designs on their playing surfaces, with the Zildjian Galaxy Pad offering an interstellar space scene and the Zildjian Graffiti Pad offering a modern take on graffiti art“. Both pads feature a responsive playing surface, a solid base, and a non-slip backing to keep the pad in place during use. According to Zildjian, the silicone pads “provide excellent response for learning drum set technique“, which would make them ideal for beginner drummers.
“Regardless of skill level, drummers spend a significant amount of time practicing on pads,” says Pamela Ricci, Zildjian’s Brand Manager for Apparel, Merchandise & Accessories. “We wanted to create high-quality practice pads that would combine a best-in-class usage experience with bold, graphic designs to inspire drummers to hone their craft.”
