Zildjian are reintroducing the FX Stacks. The concept has been reimagined and the cymbals themselves revamped. This time around, each stack consists of three cymbals, not two, as it was before (see HERE for our test of the old version).
The stacks consist of two larger FX splash cymbals and one smaller, and is a completely modular design, with cymbals able to be stacked in any order, assembled in a traditional hihat orientation, or combined with other non-Stack cymbal models for even more possibilities. They are inherently bright and very responsive, but the included multi-functional Zildjian Cymbolt® mount allows drummers to dial in each stack’s articulation, from a bright and splashy wash, to raw, quick and cutting.
