Premier have recently introduced two new finishes to the Artist series. Those are: Matte Black (MBL) and Cherry Red (CRL).
Artist are mid-range drum kits in the Premier catalogue, however (as it is commonly done nowadays) they are equipped with many solutions applied in top-of-the-range models, e.g. tom suspension systems, memory locks, lacquer finishes and so on).
Basic Premier Artist specs:
- Wood: Birch
- Shells: 7.5 mm, 6 ply
- Bearing edges: 45°
- Lugs: Deco
- Hoops: Triple-flange, steel, 1.5 mm
- Tom suspension system: ISO (no direct contact with shells)
- Tom holder and floor-tom legs with memory locks
- Rack toms mounted on the bass drum
- Matching wooden 14″ x 5.5″ snare drum
- New finishes: Matte Black (MBL), Cherry Red (CRL)
- Remaining finishes: Indigo Burst (INB), Steel Grey (SGL)
