> > > Musicpark – Drummer & Percussion Line-up 2019

The Musicpark will be opened for the first time at the Leipzig exhibition grounds from 1 to 3 November, inviting visitors to travel through a fascinating range of musical instruments and accessories. The event is directed to music lovers, music producers and dealers. Of course, as always, we focus on the drum part of this event!

During the trade fair you will be able to listen to 12 drummers who will be one of the main attractions of hall 2. Drummers will play their drum kits that they use during live tours. Musicians will not only play and share their experiences, but will introduce instruments to beginners in the PlayZone.

The sweatbloodtears (SBT) portfolio ranges from Youtube stars to Arena heavy metal drummers from the USA, Japan and Europe. Besides Karl Brazil, who drums for Robbie Williams and James Blunt, the scene’s shooting star, or better said the new icon from Japan, Senri Kawaguchi, will also be there. Patrick Metzger is not only associated with the feel-good music of Beatrice Egli, for whom he drums, but also with his great expertise in the field of drumming. Jost Nickel is responsible for the grooves of Jan Delay and has made an excellent name for himself throughout Europe and overseas.

Gary Wallis is probably one of the most underrated drummers in the world. His roots go back to his work with Pink Floyd. For many years he was the music director of Tom Jones. He is also a founding member of Mike & The Mechanics. His latest project is Schiller. Will Hunt – Evanescence drummer. Max and Simon with the drums duo “Dreschheads” are also a huge hit on the international arena. Moritz Müller performs with the Italian rock goddess Gianna Nannini. Jose Cortijo and Stefan Maas have become an irreplaceable part of the drum group. They both shine with style of drumming and variety of sounds.

SBT boxes are soundproof, acoustically designed cabins with a unique sound and lighting concept. International artists perform several times a day and encourage visitors to listen to music more closely. All artists will use the original equipment, which will be presented at the exhibition next door.

Lectures and masterclasses will be held on stage – College & Academy
