David Bowie’s drummer to perform in Europe
Last year, we informed all the drum freaks out there planning their holidays in the south of Europe or simply living there about the possibility to check out Mark Guiliana live during a summer European tour with Brad Mehldau Trio.
This year, we invite everyone to attend gigs featuring this exquisite drummer again. Should anyone be spending their holidays in the beautiful island of Malta, Mark Guiliana is to be featured at Malta Jazz Festival and play a gig on July 21. Definitely worth it!
Mark Guiliana is an outstanding drummer, bandleader, composer and educator, who is widely respected in the music business. He earned even more acclaim after his collaboration with David Bowie on the Artist’s last two albums, especially after the release of “Blackstar“. Bowie invited Guiliana to play on his albums after watchinghim perform in New York.
