Josh Freese will once again join A Perfect Circle live for the first time in 13 years!
Legendary drummer Josh Freese will join his former bandmates from A Perfect Circle for the first time in 13 years. This will happen during an upcoming tour with Puscifer and Primus. However, Freese said he will have to leave the tour when the Foo Fighters begin their upcoming concerts, but hopes to rejoin A Perfect Circle as soon as possible.
“Due to my schedule with the Foo Fighters I’ll be having to jump off after the Hollywood Bowl on April 20,” – he said. Gunnar from Puscifer will be filling in on the remaining dates (maybe Primus‘ Tim Alexander too?). “There’s a chance I’ll be able to show up to another gig or two after that if time allows but for now that’s the plan. A Perfect Circle has always been a very special band for me and I’m really looking forward to getting out and playing these songs again.”
Josh Freese played drums for A Perfect Circle from 1999 to 2004, and then again briefly between 2010 and 2011.
