Jay Weinberg joins Ludwig family

“We’re pleased to welcome Jay Weinberg to the Ludwig artist roster. Since 2009, Jay Weinberg has established himself as a household name — the rhythmic backbone and driving force for some of rock and metal’s most iconic and genre-defining artists: Slipknot, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, and Suicidal Tendencies, to name a few.

A four-time GRAMMY Nominee, and the recipient of numerous recognitions from Modern Drummer, Drumeo, and MusicRadar / Rhythm as “Metal Drummer of the Year,” Jay’s independent career as a free agent has most recently seen the release of the critically-acclaimed Fuming Mouth album “The Ringing Bell,” his first musical releases under his own name, and drum clinics around the globe.

Jay is nominated for Modern Drummer’s 2026 Punk & Alternative Drummer of the Year, and will headline the UK Drum Show on October 24th as his first official performance as a Ludwig artist.“
