A few days ago, a gentleman came up with a brilliant idea that was taken out of the Grand Theft Auto San Andreas computer game. He tried to rob a Papa John’s with a pair of drumsticks… We wonder if he came into the pizzeria and said: “This is a robbery! Freeze or I will have to treat you with my five stroke rolls!” 🙂
The police received a call from the Papa John’s pizza place in Lincoln, NE around 7:30 on March 13. The staff said that the man was holding a pair of drumsticks and a sign which said: “Give me everything in the register”. The police said a man, later identified as 33-year-old Joseph Peterson, broke a glass panel in the restaurant before escaping. Soon after, he was located and apprehended for attempted robbery.
