Gretsch Drums celebrate one hundred and forty years with their Limited Edition 140th Anniversary Drum Kit and a Limited Edition 140th Anniversary Snare Drum.
Each one of these 140th Anniversary Drum Kits and Snare Drums is constructed to honor the company’s amazing legacy and offers drummers a highly collectible piece of Gretsch history which will surely be admired for years to come. These one-of-a-kind drums are handcrafted in the Ridgeland factory.
Limited Edition 140th Anniversary Drum Kit
- 6-ply hybrid maple, gum, and poplar shells
- Ebony Stardust gloss lacquer finish
- 30-degree bearing edges
- All nickel-plated hardware
- Gretsch Permatone commemorative 140th logo drumheads
- Shipped with a set of custom designed drum bags and a certificate of authenticity signed by Fred Gretsch and the artisans who built them
There are two kit configurations available:
- 12”x8″ rack tom, 14″x14” floor tom, 18″x14” kick drum and a 14″x5” snare (GH-J484-140th)
- 10”x7″ and 12″x8” rack toms, 16″x14” floor tom, 22″x16” bass drum and a 14″x6.5” snare (GH-E6256-140th)
- Only 70 of each set-up will ever be created.

- U.S.A. Custom Gretsch formula maple-gum shell with an outer veneer of Figured Ash
- Size: 14″x7”
- Finish: Natural gloss lacquer
- Hardware: Vintage-inspired, nickel-plated diecast hoops and lugs, and a classic Lightning throw-off
- Comes with a custom snare bag and a certificate of authenticity signed by Fred Gretsch and the artisans who built them
- Production limited to 140 drums only
