> > Winners Announced! “Drum Mastery 2019” – The Shure Drum Contest

Earlier this year, Shure invited to participate in the competition – “Drum Mastery 2019” – The Shure Drum Contest. Drummers from 44 countries around the world could take part in the competition. And the winner of the main prize will receive a fully paid trip and stay in London, workshops at Metropolis Studios and Shure equipment worth approximately USD 5,000.

2 days ago the results were announced, we followed the current application, which was published on the Shure website. We boldly state that there really were a dozen really great players there, and the jury did not have an easy task when it comes to choosing the first three places.

We would like to remind you: The Jury was composed of: Ash Soan (United Kingdom), Taylor Gordon (USA), Tobias Derer (Germany), Takashi Kashikura (Japan) and Shiguang Cui (China).

Carlos Arturo Hernández Cubillos from Colombia placed third. He will receive $1,000 in Shure equipment.

Second place goes to Matthias Knorr from Germany. He will receive $3,000 in Shure equipment.

Daniel Kelly II from Hampton, Virginia won over the jury with his video entry incorporating various rhythmic styles and a creative approach to playing.

Each of the 38 Country Winners won a Shure MV88+ Video Kit and a pair of Shure SE215 Sound Isolating Bluetooth Earphones.
