After Mike Portnoy‘s return to Dream Theater some six months ago, the band have just finished writing sessions for the new album and announced the dates of the European leg of the DT 40th Anniversary Tour.

As part of that European outing, the prog metal virtuosos will do 23 dates in 17 countries in October and November of this year. Mike Portnoy‘s fans will certainly flock to see and hear him reunite onstage with the band he co-founded, after some 13 years apart.
