Dave Lombardo has a musical project together with his wife Paula, which is called Venamoris.
Paula Lombardo and Dave Lombardo (Slayer, Fantômas, Testament, Mr. Bungle, Misfits, Dead Cross) formed Venamoris in 2021. Their debut album, titled “Drown In Emotion”, was released in 2023.
The couple’s second full-length album, titled “To Cross Or To Burn,” will be released on March on Mike Patton’s (Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Fantômas, Tomahawk, Peeping Tom) Ipecac Records.
All songs are written by Paula Lombardo except “Animal Magnetism” written by Rudolf Schenker. The album is engineered & produced by Dave Lombardo. All instrumentation was done by Paula & Dave Lombardo. Paula Lombardo has done all the vocals. Special guest performers include: Trevor Dunn (double bass), Ra Diaz (bass), Alex Skolnick (guitar), Gary Holt (guitar).
Three tracks have already been released digitally: “In The Shadows”, “Spider Web” and the latest one – “Truth”.
