The customized heavy china was created especially to Chris’ order based on the Soultone Cymbals Explosion series china with a higher profile, inverted custom bell and heavy hammering added. The idea was to create a powerful and cutting china sound.

Chris, who is a Soultone Cymbals endorsee, comments:

From the first time I heard Soultone Cymbals I was intrigued and wanted the check them out for myself. Going to the show room in Van Nuys CA. and sitting down and playing them I instantly knew they were for me. They are easily the most musical Cymbals I have ever played. Rich tone… great feel… a wide range of sounds. Each series of the SoulTone line had something I liked. I’m so extremely humbled and excited about play Soultone Cymbals and being part of the family. The owner Iki Levy and my rep Mazen Ayoub and the staff are down to earth and really want the best for their players. I look forward to playing these Cymbals live and in the studio so the rest of the world can hear the Soultone Cymbals magic!
