METRONOMES

These days, the metronome is an indispensable tool for any drummer who treats his or her job seriously. The same can be said about all those who wish to pursue a drummer’s career in the future. Drummers practice with metronomes, every recording studio expects players to deliver following the steady clicks coming from a set of headphones. Also, we use the click machine on stage more and more as the number of hybrid drummers, i.e. those utilizing electronics and laptops, increases day by day. In such case, you just cannot play without a metronome. The number of bands using click tracks for all the musicians on stage (including the singer) is growing as well. Naturally, this function is available with virtually every electronic device, drum app and computer software. However, there are still useful independent devices one can use at home, in a rehearsal space, on stage and in studio. Those include such classics as the Tama RW105 and new products, including the Tama RW200 or the Soundbrenner.
