Bartosz Nazaruk is a name that needs no introduction to drum enthusiasts in his native Poland, and could soon become a household name among world music lovers the world over. A Gretsch artist, he has been associated with the band Zakopower for years, and has also worked with artists such as Urszula Dudziak, Kayah & Transoriental Orchestra, Dagadana, Michal Urbaniak, Grażyna Auguścik, Jazz Bending, Tutaj, Sztetl, United States Of Beta, Mate.O, Natalia Kukulska, Leszek Możdżer, Halina Mlynkova, Novika, Natalia Nykiel, Maria Sadowska. His musical language includes jazz, pop, electronica, and numerous kinds of world music. His versatility isn’t limited to playing the drums – he is also a respected producer, arranger and composer. Not only does he bring professionalism to each of his projects, but also a unique character.
In the most recent video prepared for Beatit TV, Bartosz Nazaruk demonstrates his skills live, performing the song “Widzialne i niewidzialne” (‘The Visible and the Invisible‘) by his band Zakopower.
Bartosz uses a Gretsch Renown Maple kit on the recording. It is characterized by a warm, full sound and excellent projection, which, combined with Nazaruk’s skills, produces a world-class result.

Remo factory heads were used on all the drums, and a set of Impression Dark Cymbals (14″ hi-hat, 20″, 22″, 24″ Hard Ride) complets the instrument mix. The sound was recorded with DPA and Hum microphones, as well as Neve and RME preamps.
