The White Family and Seattle Theatre Group (STG) have announced “a Tribute Concert to celebrate the musical life of legendary drummer, Alan White“. Members of YES, White, and special guests will come together to play selections from Alan White’s seven-decade career, including music from John Lennon, George Harrison, YES, and more.
Performers who will play at the show include: past and present members of Yes (Geoff Downes, Jon Davison, Billy Sherwood, Jay Schellen, Trevor Rabin), Steve Boyce (White), Karl Haug (White), Jonathan Sindleman (White), Robyn Dawn (White), Matt Cameron (Pearl Jam), Spike Edney (Queen), Michael Shrieve (Santana), Roger Fisher (Heart), Steve Fossen (Heart), Mike Derosier (Heart), Jeff Scott-Soto (Journey, TSO), Fernando Perdomo (Appice Perdomo Project), WANZ (Macklemore, Ryan Lewis), Bernt Bodal (White Sox), Jeff Scott-Soto (Journey, TSO), Mark Hudson (Aerosmith, Ringo Starr), Ryan Rabin (Grouplove), Caspian Coberly. There are more artists to be announced!
The event will be hosted by Mr. White’s longtime friend, Bob Rivers.
Proceeds from the show will benefit WhyHunger, a leading anti-hunger nonprofit organization.
