Things are getting properly dark at Tama as they have come up with a limited-edition Starclassic Performer “Black Out Black Edition” drum kit. It is finished in matte black – shells, drum lugs, hoops, and more.
The defining feature of this kit is that the interior of each shell is painted in a deep black finish. The toms are fitted with clear heads, allowing this color to stand out. The front bass drum head features a Fiberskyn-style black head, complementing this kit’s dark aesthetic.
The drum set is configured as a five-piece kit with two toms and two floor toms. In addition, a 14” x 6.5” matching snare drum, equipped with an EVANS Black Chrome head, is also available as a standalone model.
