All bass maniacs (but also many drummers) know Victor Wooten, who is currently one of the world’s most prominent and successful bassists.
Fewer people know that his brother, Roy ‘Futureman’ Wooten, is an accomplished drummer, who has won five Grammy awards with the band Béla Fleck and the Flecktones (which Victor is also a member of). He is also the creator of the instrument he named “Drumitar,” which is a synthesizer allowing to trigger guitar and drum sounds simultaneously.
This killer rhythm section performs in a quartet with two more brothers – Regi (guitar, vocals) and Joseph (keyboards, vocals). There was also Rudy, who played two saxophones at the same time, but unfortunately he passed away in 2010.
