VATER have quietly been working with Chad Sexton on an updated model to align with his newfound needs as a player.
With a refined technique and overall playing approach, Chad slightly tweaked the specs of his Custom Model. Although its width is the same as his previous model, the update adds a little extra length (it has grown ¼”to stretch to 16 ¼”) and is finished in white paint which not only adds a cool visual look but has also been very helpful to Chad’s grip while performing long-duration 311 shows.

Chad Sexton (b. 1970) is a drummer and founding member of the American rock band 311. The group was formed 1988 in Omaha, Nebraska. They have released fourteen studio albums, two live albums, four compilation albums, four EPs and four DVDs. Two of their studio albums and a greatest hits album have been certified platinum, while two others are certified gold. 311 has sold over 10 million records in the United States alone.
