System Of A Down drummer, John Dolmayan, has joined the Yamaha Drums artist roster!
Yesterday, Dolmayan took to his Instagram account to announce the news:
“Let’s make it official! Happy to announce I’m now part of the esteemed roster @yamahadrumsofficial. In the end it was an easy decision, great people and incredible drums! Now the difficult task of building the touring kits begins, twin kits will be introduced on @systemofadown South American tour this April/May. We’re putting together an incredible kit specifically for this incredible tour! I’m excited and practicing more and more in preparation, see you soon South America!“
Yamaha Drums Artist Relations Manager, Greg Crane, says: “We are honored to welcome John to the Yamaha Drums family. His unique voice behind the kit has captivated audiences worldwide, and we are very excited to be a part of that voice going forward.”
John Dolmayan will perform during the aforementioned tour on Yamaha Absolute Hybrid Maple drums and hardware.
