Tomek Łosowski is a recent Gretsch endorsee who has been one of the busiest drummers in Poland over the last 30 years, with close to a hundred albums under his belt, both as a session player, as well as with his own bands and projects. The latter include: Orange Trane, ΠR2, Quartado, Lemańczyk – Łosowski – Łukowski Jazz Trio, Tomasz Łosowski Acoustic Trio. Tomek is also a member of Kombi Łosowski – a band led by his father and keyboardist, Sławomir Łosowski, which was one of the most popular Polish acts of the 1980s. He has also released two solo albums: “C.V.” (2004) and “Fusionland” (2016).

The tune performed by Tomek is titled “Losowski’s Family“, a self-penned tune taken from the “Fusionland” solo release. All the instrumental tracks were recorded by Tomek, except the keyboard solo, which was done by Sławomir Łosowski.
For this recording, Tomek used a Gretsch USA Maple drum kit, consisting of two rack toms (10“ x 7”, 12“ x 8”), two floor toms (14“ x 14”, 16“ x 16”), as well as a 22“ x 18” bass drum and Gretsch snare drums. He put Remo heads on all of the drums (Ambassador coated on the toms and floor toms and Powerstroke 3 on the bass drum). He also used a set of Zildjian cymbals:
