Last year, Sabian announced the SABIAN – Dom Famularo – SEN Mentorship Award as a yearly grant to an aspiring drumming talent. This year’s winner was Maksym Logosha from Ukraine.
Right now, the application period for next year’s edition is open until the 30th of November. Drummers can apply now for a chance to be chosen for this prize of personal coaching with leading industry pros, and a cash grant of $2500.
Applicants must complete an online form and submit two videos, each between 2-3 minutes in length. In the first video, the applicant is to demonstrate their playing in whatever manner they choose (song or solo). In the second, the applicant is to tell the judges (in English) what they would do with the grant and how it would help them achieve their career goals.
