Hard rock legends, Scorpions, are celebrating the 40th anniversary of their classic album “Love At First Sting“.
The German power ballad masters (may songs such as “When The Smoke Is Going Down“, “Still Loving You“, “Wind of Change“, “Send Me An Angel“, or “Holiday” serve as examples), but at the same time the authors of proper rock bangers ( “Rock You Like A Hurricane“, “No One Like You“, or “Big City Nights“), embark on the European leg of the Love At First Sting Tour.
It seems that each show is going to be a small festival, with such bands as Europe, Evanescence and Extreme plus local stars as support acts depending on the show.
Since 2016, Mikkey Dee (Motorhead, King Diamond, Don Dokken, Helloween) has been the band’s sticksman. He is famous for expressive but, at the same time, clean and precise playing, and he is endorsed by such brands as: Paiste, Sonor, Wincent, Evans.
Apart from Mikkey, the remaining Scorpions to hit the stages across Europe and the UK are: Klaus Meine (vocals), Rudolf Schenker (guitar), Matthias Jabs (guitar) and Paweł Mąciwoda (bass guitar).
