Famous polish drummer and teacher will soon share some of his knowledge!
Tomasz Łosowski, well known musician and educator will conduct a workshop on October 15 in Akademia Muzyki Rozrywkowej in Gdynia. For those, who don’t know Tomasz, here are some facts: he has played drums on more than 50 albums, collaborated with many artists of the pop, rock and jazz scene. He works with famous polish band KOMBI since 1991 and co creates jazz project Orange Trane and Quartado Quartet of Gdansk. He is a lecturer, who conducts lectures and drum workshops throughout the country.
During the course Tomek will discuss such topics as :
-time
-playing in slow tempos
-the relax of the body, drum workout plan
-tuning and setting up your drum set
– the correct position behind the drumkit
– the technique of holding the sticks
– playing with tracks
– playing with live musicians (band)
– the role of the drummer in a rock band and a jazz band
