Famous movie star will become a drumming legend!
Over The Top Metal News has been informed by an inner source from Touchstone Pictures, that there is a lot going on due to release of the epic movie biography of the legendary band. The casting procedure is almost over! Tom Hanks will play the role of the one and only Neil Peart. This Oscar-winning actor admitted recently, that it was one of the most challenging roles he has ever accepted. The most difficult thing was for him to learn how to play drums, just to look like it’s Neil playing.
Producers still haven’t found a right person to play band’s bassist- Geddy Lee. Unfortunately it’s hard to find an actor with such an “original” appearance. The movie is set to 2016 release, but everything might change due to difficulties with finding rest of the cast.
