Four drummers awarded for their contribution to Polish culture!

Yesterday, at the Pomeranian Philharmonic in Bydgoszcz, Poland, four outstanding Polish drummers, Marcin Jahr (known for his work with the great saxoponist Jan Ptaszyn Wróblewski), Piotr Biskupski (jazz drummer and teacher), Jacek Pelc (jazz drummer and music educator) and Mirosław Żyta (drummer and teacher) were awarded Gloria Artis medals for their contribution to the developement of Polish culture. The awards were presented to them by Deputy Director of the Department of Art and Cultural Education, Piotr Baron.
