The Band wants every past drummer to be with them during Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction

The annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony is getting closer everyday. This year it’s going to take place on April 7. One of the acts, which going to be intucted is agrunge music legend- Pearl Jam. Everybody can recall the unpleasant situation with their former drummer- Dave Abbruzzese, who is not going to be on the list of the honoured bandmembers. He was really angry, and posted a message, which clearly showed his disagreement with the decision, as he was a band’s drummer for three years and had recorded some albums.

If you don’t know, the only drummers, who are going to be inducted are Matt Cameron, current skinsman for Pearl Jam, and the original drummer- Dave Krusen. However the band posted a letter to all the musicians, who were ever a part of the band, inviting them to the ceremony. You can see the original post below:

In one of the fragments we can read very heartwarming things:

While awards and accolades are understandably subjective and a countless number of our peers have yet to be honored, we do feel fortunate to be recognized and provided the opportunity to reunite with everyone who has been part of the group.

Specifically the drummers who all left their distinctive mark on our band in the pre-Matt Cameron years.

Dave Krusen, Matt Chamberlain, Dave Abbruzzese and Jack Irons are each individually great players who gave their all to the early recordings and live gigs.

Looking forward to seeing them and all the other musicians on the bill. Have to say wish H.R. and Perry Farrell were gonna be there too. If nothing else it makes us feel lucky and appreciative of the nod.”

We hope, that invited musicians will show up, and we will be able to see a real fair of friendship and music. We wish it to whole Pearl Jam!
